STUDY ON THE REINFORCED CONCRETE BLOCK IN CASE STUDY DEMOLITION OF IWATA-RESIDENCE, KAWAGUCHI-CITY(History and Theory of Architecture)

Abstract

This paper is the report about IWATA residence which was breaked in Oct. 2003 in Kawaguchi-city. Iwata residence was the reinforced concrete house, constructed by Nihon Cement Industry Co. Ltd. Genkichi Yamanouchi, the director of Nihon Cement Industry Co. Ltd, had tried the much special concrete blocks invention. The residence was build by them. We make clear that the reinforced concrete block by Genkichi Ymanouchi, which has excellent technology by Taisho era.
