The diagnosis to investigate precisely the condition and the causes of deteriorations and the maintenance technology to repair thoroughly the deteriorations are necessary to keep a building in good condition. However, the diagnosis and the maintenance technology are often selected on an engineer's knowledge and experiments. The aim of this questionnaire survey is to grasp the practical approach and the criterion of judgment for decision of diagnosis, repair and maintenance technology utilizable in cold region, Hokkaido.
