Abstract

Starting from T-3 rate by using hollow metal door, we performed acoustic test intending to improve the sound transmission loss in low frequency range (125Hz-250Hz). To avoid of resonance in a hollow metal door, we developed new method of door leaf design, named "Oscillo-synthesizing method". Special composition of reinforcement ribs causes considerable sound transmission loss in low frequency range.
