Abstract
This paper presents primary studies of wind loads for a huge structure composed of cable-stayed roof with span length exceeding 350m and cantilevered length 44m with the structural model experiments (scale 1 : 200).
The design wind load for the cantilever roof bases on the dynamic-response analysis. In the analyses, the wind-tunnel data are used.
A simple model is provided as a function the length parameters of the buildings.
It was clarified the gust effect factor and the equivalent static load distribution derived from the tunnel tests.
