Abstract
This report aims to evaluate the implementation of the lot register system and minimum lot control by “Tsukuba Lot Control Ordinance” though 26 years with the view of lot cntrol. The ordinance which was enacted by firstly Ibaraki prefecture and secondary Tsukuba city under the Article 50 of Building Standard Law prescribes the procedure of minimum lot (165m2) regulation and lot register system among other things. This report reviews the changes of the details of implementation process and finds some of suggestions for utilizing lot register system for the other local governments.
