Abstract
With the introduction of a new curriculum, a major improvement of the architectural education is conducted at Meiji University. The followings are found important.
1. Site analysis can provide useful resources for architectural design. It can also advance the students' ability in related fields. 2. Proper response to the requirements and the surrounding condition of site are considered important. Thus, the appropriate program should be prepared. 3. The studio should be optimized according to the level of student's development. 4. The teaching staff's meeting must function effectively to create the organic alliance between the educational program and its operation.
