Abstract
In Ujitawara-cho, Kyoto, a production of tea farming family makes dried persimmons during the winter of the slack season on the farm. The dried persimmon is performed in a large-sized temporary construction called “KAKIYA”. The close materials such as a log, bamboo, straw are used for construction. And there is little waste every year because I use the same materials. Besides, I can make good use of thinning materials. In the persimmon shop, it was recognized that it was a construction method that could fit modern environment in this way.
