Abstract
There are a lot of systems of the public grant in the urban renewal in Japan. However, these have not aimed at the conservation of historical buildings.
This report is described how to use these public grants for conservation of historical buildings, through three cases by using the public grant in Hokkaido.
It is thought that the possibility of support to conservation was able to be shown to the way of use in the historical buildings that will be lost by lack of funds.
