In recent years, many universities is working on learning support in collaboration with local community in various of ways. This study focuses on learning matters and roles of learning supporters in a renovation project of a vacant house in a city center. As a result, it is revealed that architecture students can learn not only technical knowledge of renovation, but also common sense and professional ethics. Furthermore, the roles of learning supporters are important for students to realize points of issue.
