Abstract
In this paper, we report the results of the experiments of partial remodeling regarding thermal insulation in existing multi-family housing. In this experiments, we surround only one part of dwelling space by thermal insulation partitions and fittings. We investigate the remodeling dwelling from three approaches. The results of the experiments are as follows; 1) In environmental engineering field, we clarified thermal environment performance in the remodeling dwelling. 2) In housing planning field, we clarified the adaptability of remodeling dwelling to residents’ life. 3) In building construction planning, we clarified construction efficiency in the remodeling construction.
