Abstract
This paper aims at evaluating the Abe family residence. It is thought that the Abe family residence was built in the second half of the 18th century. The whole reception room decoration is still the original figure. The circumference of toilet is also left behind except the space of a back angle. It can be restored to a original appearance. A preservation state is very good. It is a typical middle-class samurai residence about Fukuoka Prefecture, and is very worthy.
