Abstract
A questionnaire survey for staff whose production facilities were affected by the 2011 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake was carried out to obtain basic data essential for promoting business continuity. Part II proposes a recovery function relation with time and recovery throughout the survey. Time is normalized to 1.0, and recovery is measured by operation rate. The recovery function follows the beta distribution curve reflecting the characteristics of actual recovery of many production facilities. Since the recovery function differs according to seismic intensity, beta distribution parameters depending on PGA(peak ground acceleration) and PGV(peak ground velocity) are also proposed.
