Abstract
Inhabitant organization in Kikugawa-cho Yamaguchi Prefecture rented a closed school for the activities base, and repaired a vacant house for the base facilities, and inhabitants are grappling with the urban rural interchange activities. The paper aims at verifying the effect on maintenance of the facilities and the validity of the renovation plan. By the establishment of the organization, the interchange events such as “the annual event” that makes an agriculture experience like as rice planting, reaping, cake making that is held through a year, “the summer vacation cramming school” that does a field activities, handicraft and so on for the child, the lecture held irregularly, are being done and staying events are on the increase, too.
