Abstract
In the Part 2, the observed failure behavior of semi-fixed bearings is graphically described and the strength for horizontal force is evaluated according to the AIJ recommendation.
The damage of base mortar was very similar to that observed after the 2011 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake. It is found that the ultimate strength is precisely predicted following to the AIJ recommendation. However, the use of the yield strength is preferable in the strength evaluation for use of the facilities after earthquake. Since the damage of base mortar is not severe for the load level at the yield strength.
