A STUDY ON ‘LODE’ AS CITIZEN LEARNING METHOD FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF DISASTER PREVENTION AND WELFARE

Abstract

In Japan today, interest in disaster prevention and welfare is increasing strongly. In this paper, it is reported for citizen participation activities that have been carried out from these disaster prevention and welfare point of view “LODE”. The “LODE”, L (little people), O (old people), D (disabled people), such as from the point of view of the socially vulnerable, it is to experience thought everyone in the E (evacuation). Through the eight cases in this paper, reporting and of the contents of the workshop, actual conditions of local communities, increased awareness and concerns of participants, personal information, it is considered such.
