Abstract
The 1914 Akita Senboku earthquake was one of the most damaging inland events in Akita prefecture and the authors have been continued literature surveys on this earthquake. This time, archived local governmental documents of former Osawago village were newly found. This village was located in the most damaged area. In this paper, these archived documents are rearranged in time series and listed in a table. Damage responses by local government are revealed on the various processes in damage inspections, rescue, emergency relief, distribution of disaster donations, recovery of lifelines and reconstruction of damaged facilities.
