THE CURRENT HOUSING USE SITUATION AND MANAGEMENT TREND OF THE FUTURE IN MOUNTAINOUS AREAS

– A case of east area in Nara city –

Abstract

This study investigates the house of a mountainous area. In the investigation area, a population decrease and aging are advancing. The house was classified into five according to the use situation. The classification was divided by the situation which lives, and the situation currently used. In the house in which it lives, for the moment, maintenance management is carried out. The house which is not used has insufficient management and its consciousness of an owner is low. Especially the vacant house had a difference in management by the use situation.
