This article is research on the evaluation of vacant classroom renovation by junior high school students’ DIY. In order to realize the vacant classroom renovation by school, we showed procedures for administrative permission and coordination with teachers in school. When we plan a workshop of renovation design and DIY, it is important to make process student-centered activities and to have students feel participation and enjoyment. Renovation fulfilling above conditions create a space different from existing school and can increase the students’ satisfaction and image of the school.
