The purpose of this research is to consider the urban development method considering the influence of regional airport located in urban areas. Therefore, it analyzed the description of the airport in administrative materials formulated by the municipality of the city. Factor analysis and cluster analysis showed that the regional airports can be classified into 4 groups. In addition, it was found that the urban development method around these airports can be divided into four according to the “availability of the airport” and “the connection to the expressway is before or after opening the airport”.
