Abstract

We investigated the building’s damage due to ballistic ejecta near the volcanic vent. It is important for developing the resisted buildings against volcanic disasters to gather the building damage data because the volcanic disaster is lower occurrence than the natural disaster such as windstorm and flood disaster.
Furthermore, we developed the quick damage investigation sheet based on the other disaster and above investigation, because we are restricted access to a disaster victim area on occurring volcanic disaster.
