The purpose of this study is to clarify the status of Meeting place and usage in Omuta City’s municipal housing.
The results of the survey showed that although the occupancy rate of meeting places in municipal housing is low, Salon activities are held at there. It was found that when a salon activity is run by residents, it is only possible with the support of the manager of the municipal housing. And it was also found that in municipal housing with an attached welfare facility, it became a place of contact between the residents and the welfare facility staff.
