Analysis of evacuation consciousness and information gathering revealed that the elderly were more likely to check “TV” and “emergency breaking e-mail”. “Emergency breaking e-mails” were confirmed more significantly by women, and it was more confirmed considerably in people in the people in the 60s age group. “Radio” was more confirmed in detached houses. The information that elderly need was centered on the words “evacuation” and “necessary”. It was found that even elderly who did not confirm evacuation sites and routes in advance required information on routes and sites.
