PRESENT CONDITION AND PROBLEM OF TREATMENTS OF DISASTER HAZARD AREAS IN RESIDENCE INDUCTION AREAS OF LOCATION NORMALIZATION PLAN

−Focus on four prefecture (Gifu, Shizuoka, Aichi, Mie) of Tokai region−

Abstract

The report introduces the present condition and problem of descriptions about the treatment of disaster hazard areas in basic guideline for urban renaissance and guideline for city planning. The targets are 4 prefectures in Tokai region. As the result of analysis, it has become clear that treatments of disaster hazard areas were different from each municipality because of directionality about the exclusion of guideline for city planning and kinds of disasters. In the future, not excluded areas need to be considered excluding and if impossible, disaster prevention measures need to be set in location normalization plan.
