Abstract

Under expectation that, in future retail facilities, it will be more important to provide where one can settle down and visit online sites of the adjacent stores, the authors conducted 3 surveys to 172, 491, and 627 shoppers seated in common hallways of Lazona Kawasaki shopping center. The results revealed: 1) there is a significant number of shoppers who sat in order to use internet devices, 2) 70% mobile internet device users on bench visited online sites of the stores in the center, and 3) higher rate of the shoppers visited the online sites in shorter distance from the store.
