SURVEY OF SEMINARS AND DEMONSTRATION MODELS FOR THE DISSEMINATION OF EARTHQUAKE-RESISTANT WOODEN HOUSES IN LOCAL GOVERNMENTS AND ARCHITECTS & BUILDING ENGINEERS ASSOCIATIONS NATIONWIDE

Abstract

We surveyed, via questionnaire, local governments and Architects & Building Engineers Associations nationwide regarding the dissemination of earthquake-resistant wooden houses.　We grasped the overall situation and content of the seminars, then further looked at the situation and characteristics of seminars using demonstration models. As a result, it was found that about 30% of all respondents used a demonstration model, and of those about 70% of them owned the model. Furthermore, when we sorted the evaluations by model users of the 10 types of models that were used, the need for scenarios and videos of the demonstration models became clear.
