Abstract

This study conducted a hearing investigation on the process from the evacuation situation at the time to the resumption of welfare services, targeting 6 facilities that were flooded by large-scale disasters that occurred after 2018. Of the six flood-damaged facilities, five were located in flood risk zones. Facilities where evacuation to the upper floors had been completed before the flooding had no human damage. After that, residents and staff evacuated to other facilities. In many facilities, changes were seen in disaster prevention after the disaster.
