Abstract

This Research is an investigation report of “Gou Gura” in Kanbara which was designated as cultural property of the Tsumagoi village in 2007. “Gou Gura” is a storehouse where rice was stockpiled in the village during the Edo period. “Gou Gura” of Kanbara is a mud storehouse built using the “Seirou” construction system. This report describes the mud wall systems through dismantling conservation work.
