Abstract

This paper analyzes land-use management issues on excavating sites of grave and rock from a viewpoint of restoration and keeping proper land-use and conversion into another land-use, especially for urban land-use. Questionnaire surveys were conducted to local cities and suppliers in the three major metropolitan areas in Japan to analyze land-use management issues. In addition, this case study was conducted in two districts of Nagoya Metropolitan Area where the conversion of land-use was completed. As the result, the issue for the conversion into urban land-use of excavating sites by planning were investigate.
