Abstract

Main problems with CLT structures are follows; It is necessary to ensure construction accuracy of the joining metal fitting under the bottom of CLT walls to anchor bolts embedded into R/C foundations. The rotational stiffness and bearing capacity of CLT walls are reduced because the compression side of the CLT shear walls sink into CLT floors when CLT walls are installed on top of CLT floors. The energy absorption capacity decreases due to the slip phenomenon during cyclic loadings. In this report, the metal sleeve connecter filled with high strength grout mortar is developed to solve those problems.
