Abstract

In this study, as for concrete beams using CFRP rods as the main reinforcement, a sequential analysis by means of the equivalent stress block was presented, which is simple and has the same accuracy as a non-linear cross-sectional analysis based on the Bernoulli-Euler theory. Furthermore, a post-peak flexural behavior of the beam was analyzed and the ultimate strain of concrete at the ultimate limit point in flexure of a continuous fiber reinforced concrete beam was discussed.
