Abstract

The purpose of this study is to summarize the issues of architectural programming for temporary child custody center through a survey, focusing on the actual conditions of the spatial configuration and the intentions of the staff regarding the facility space and environment. In the analysis, there are a certain number of facilities where children have limited space with few private rooms and few types of rooms for activities. Next, as for the staff’s intentions, it became clear that there is a desire for an environment for individualized care and dedicated rooms by function and a flexible space configuration.
