Abstract

The purpose of this study is to use dead oak trees cut down due to oak wilt which has become a problem in Japan recently as construction material. To use these trees as a material, it is essential to consider how to use those with countless wormholes with pest control. Therefore, we independently used these trees as boards with wormholes. By evaluating the board-cutting methods and wormhole location in the simulation, we clarified the relationship. After that, we processed them into flooring and indicated them to be one of the ways to use them.
