Recent years, in the case of “community places mediated by books” in local community revitalization activities, we chose 11 examples of spaces being used as community spaces through interaction between locals and people. As part of the research, we conducted interviews with business operators, questionnaire surveys and observational surveys of residents and users to understand the actual state of usage and behavior. From the above research, two things are important in “community places mediated by books”, “a medium that connects users to stay and interact” and “a space where various activities can be carried out leniently”.
