In this study, to improve the safety of shared spaces for pedestrians and vehicle, we analyzed cases where groups of pedestrians and single personal vehicles intersect. Using fixed-point video cameras and image analysis, we calculated the minimum distance and relative velocity vectors of pedestrians with respect to the personal vehicles. Based on the calculated data, we clarified the differences in the center of gravity of the minimum distance, the center of gravity of the relative velocity vectors, and the extracted phenomenon, considering factors such as crossing angles, crowd density, and gender.
