Abstract

The COVID-19 PANDEMIC has brought about stagnation of local community activities for three years. Considering the situation, questionnaire surveys were put into practice in 2021 and 2023 to making the stagnation and recovery of activities clear by drawing comparisons between the same survey in 2018. These surveys targeted on community groups joined the Tochigi Community Association. The main findings are as follows: 1) Events accompanied many participants and activities in closed space were almost all cancelled; 2) Many outdoor activities came into effect under making efforts; 3) 2023 survey generally showed great recovery of activities and also some sequelae.
