This study investigates the energy consumption of electrode steam humidifiers through measurement survey. Energy calculations indicate that approximately 86% of the consumed energy is essential for humidification, while the remaining 14% is lost. To improve energy efficiency, heat loss under different steam cylinder thicknesses is examined, and the energy-saving potential of enhanced insulation is evaluated. These findings serve as a foundation for optimizing electrode steam humidifiers and developing more energy-efficient humidification systems.
