STRUCTURE-BORNE SOUND REDUCTION CACE STUDY BY UNDERGROUND VIBRATION-ISOLATION WALL IN THE CULTURAL COMPLEX FACILITY NEAR RAILROAD

Abstract

This paper reports the development of the underground sound isolation wall which reduces the vibration from outside. The developed form tie which supports the form panel from the cofferdam isolates the structure-borne sound from the ground surrounding the building. This developed technique enabled to build a concert hall next to a heavy traffic railroad.
