SYSTEM FOR PLANNING OF STEEL FRAME STRUCTURES BY GENETIC ALGORITHM : In case of a uniform span

Abstract

At the stage of planning of steel-frame structures, it is important to obtain the whole characteristic of the planning of construction works, the aseismic safety of structures and so on. So, this system uses Genetic Algorithm as an evolutionary computation method. This report proposes a support system by which users can obtain the useful information on the quantity surveying of steels and the basic structural performances in a short time.
