Abstract
The author studies for the way of conservation and management of the Satoyama area (the area of secondly forest) considering the relationship among vegetation management, water and soil in watershed. The style of vegetation management are classified into 5 types by the strength. So the difference of soil and soil water is measured at the watershed which is no managed for the long time and at which is managed every year in Zushi-Onoji conservation area in Tokyo. The result is that the soil electric conductivity of A horizon at no management area is higher than the soil at management area. Especially, NO3- concentration is high and it correlate with Mg2+, K+ and Ca2+ . So, NO3- is acumulated in the surface layer of valley. But the water concentration between spring water and soil water is difference. The author is considering that it has reason for the denitrification and the solving out the mineral from geological formation.
