Land use change of the Kumozu river basin and water retarding area

Abstract

The open levees is the traditional technique of mitigation of flooding of the middle reaches of the river. The Kumozu river middle reaches have 6 opne levees. After assessment of the vulnerability for future flooding, the opne levees are one of the important role for mitigation, Under rapid land use change of the river basin, the traditional method will  be evaluated for future.
