Abstract
The purpose of the present study is to evaluate the seasonal changes in water quality of the lake as affected by the fluctuation of water level as well as by the human activity.  The changes in water quality are characterized by the increase of the ratio of chloride and sodium ions during the dry season in the northern area of the lake.  It is pointed out that the changes in water quality in the dry season is induced by the increase of discharge from inflowing tributaries attendant with the lowering of lake water level.
