Abstract
Itsukushima Shinto Shrine is an unusual Shinto shrine built on the sea waters in the Hiroshima Prefecture Hatsukaichi City Miyajima-cho.
Miyajima Kangensai Festival is one of the grandest festivals in Itsukushima Shinto Shrine.
Kangensai Festival is Shinto ritual performed by playing the flute, drums and Japanese string instruments used in Japanese court music on the luner calendar June 17.
Why was this festival held on the Lunar calendar June 17, to examine in the Yin and Yang and the Five Elements of Thought.
