Role of local residents to achieve sustainable geotourism

– Case of Unzen Volcanic Area Global Geopark

Abstract

In order to achieve susutainable development using Geoheritages existed in a Geopark, it is significant that local residents know the concept of geopark. I will introduce this presentation about role of local residents living in a geopark and the concrete event to make local company join to the business of geopark.
