Abstract
The 2011 Northern Nagano Prefecture Earthquake (M6.7) occurred near the border of Nagano and Niigata prefecture on 12 March 2011. The earthquake has caused many slope failures and structural damage, but no person were killed in this event. As comprehensive damage distribution is biased, the authors analyzed the relationship between the damage and topography, geology and the expected position of the active fault with a combination of field survey and GIS analysis, based on the interferometric SAR image.
