Abstract
For these past several years, recognition of geopark spreads in Japan, and geopark advances to the authorization in various parts of Japan. In late years the need of biodiversity conservation is appealed for in our country while effect and penetration of the Biodiversity Convention advance globally. The variety of the ecosystem level is important, and nature of the earth science or nature of the humanities is included in that, too, but is originally unbalanced in nature biological nature, particularly species level, for understanding of the social public. The development of geopark thinks even such a meaning to be a desirable course. However, in such a remarkable development, the point where an argument does not yet deepen enough appears. It is a problem of protection and the use in geopark in particular. Examination is necessary while geopark spreads rapidly whether I hold represented conservation of nature system and what kind of consistency in the national park in the case of geopark and do maintenance of nature.
