Abstract
Nagasaki Prefecture used to be the attractive spots for foreigners visiting Japan in 1990s. But its importance had seen decline in 2000s. The main two reasons are the stagnation in number of tourists from Korea by the drop of the value of its currency comparing with japanese yen, and the concentrairon of foreign tourists to other areas such as Hokkaido and Chubu area. But there is also possibility that number of tourists visiting the Prefecture will increase again if attracted more by the historic and dairy cultural elements of the Prefecture.
