Abstract
Recently, research on climate change projections in Japan has been developed using the NHRCM-5km (a non-hydrostatic model with a horizontal resolution of 5 km). This paper illustrates an effective application of climate change projection data based on NHRCM-5km for assessing climate change impacts and vulnerability at the regional scale. The results include the effects and possibilities of NHRCM-5km for decision-making by a local government, using a case study of Okutama-machi, Tokyo.
