Abstract
The capital city of Jilin Province, Changchun, was the national capital city of Manchuria which was the nation established by the strong military power of Japan. We can see storong influence of the city planning which was made for this new capital city by Japanese engineers in today's uraban structure and urban landscape of Changchun. I want to make clear this relation between city planning and urban landscape, and the process of changes which have occured after economic reformation.
