In this study, we investigated the well in lowland Terai, Nepal. Carried out during the rainy season in August and the dry season in March 2012, in addition to · pH · EC · ORP · DO · AS water temperature, water sampling, survey, and each well is a well that can be measured by measuring the groundwater level, the depth of wells . The highest arsenic concentration was reached in 1047ppb Khokharpurwa (No.4). In addition there is a well of 577ppb (No.12), well (No.8) 513ppb was present Mahuwa Kunawar you put a little distance. Indicates that it is a high concentration arsenic zone in this region.

The Shinano River branch Uono River is a class A river and flow to he north. A basin is a heavy snowfall area,in spring, strewm water quantity increases by snowmelted water. In such an area,It is necessary to consider quantity of snowmelting water, based on water and Mass balance. The snow repeats freeze thawing it in the mild winter ariae. In comparison with a cold winter area. Therefore the water behaves complicated ways,in the snow layer and the meltingsnow diverges into many branches, too. In this study, about the stream water quality, clarified a snow quality composition and examined the river quality of the water formation of the snowmelting period.

Okinoerabu Island has a rich natural habitat and a unique culture that coexist, and it is very important that we tie these to the next generation. Regarding water resources, Okinoerabu Island is one of the coral upheaval islands and it has been historically difficult for residents to get water resources for their daily lives. There are used to be more than 130 springs using for residential lives, for drinking, cooking, washing clothes and taking bath, etc. Because the local government (China Town and Wadomari Town) developed the infrastructure in the early 1950s, most of the residents stopped using natural springs for their daily use. Now there are only a few records of natural springs in Okinoerabu Island and the residents might forget their history and live culture with the springs.

Mid-range forecast of leaf blast was calculated by using results of hindcast experiment. The 2-weeks hindcast results downscaled from 1.25º to 5 km were applied to BLASTAM (leaf blast model). The predicted risks of leaf blast were expressed as ensemble-based occurrence probability. Distribution of the probability BLASTAM was expressed precisely in the period when the synoptic pattern was reproduced with sufficient accuracy.

In the former numerical simulation, every one of seven mega-cities showed the warming (Tsfc) of around 1.1 K/Century in calm and clear days of the hottest season, in spite of diversity of the urbanizing stage and the observed subsurface temperature profile. Because city center of each mega-city was already urbanized at the beginning of the 20th Century. However, computing results in consideration of seasonal climate variability (e.g. emerging ratio of each weather type in each season) gave the reasonable differences between Bangkok (0.9 K/Century) and Tokyo (1.9 K/Century). The difference of annual climatic variability is an important factor for deciding urban subsurface warming.

The March mean temperature series in Yedo (Tokyo) was reconstructed, applying cherry blossom phenological data deduced from many old documents. Full blossoming dates of Prunus jamasakura in 207 years, scattered over the period from 1636 to 1905 A.D., enable us to clarify March temperature change since mid-17th century. Temperature reconstructions were compared with those in Kyoto. The temperature estimates in both cities showed two cold periods in the late-17th century and in the early-19th century, coincided with the Maunder and Dalton solar minima, respectively. Reconstructions in Yedo in the Maunder and Dalton minima were about 4 and 5 °C, respectively.

In Japan, official meteorological data were not available before 1872. However, we have many historical documents which are useful for reconstructing temperatures in 18th and 19th centuries. Also meteorological instrumental data during early 19th century have been found in several locations in Japan. These proxy and instrumenatl data clarified the summer high tempearture episode durin 1850s and 1860s in Japan. We made an attempt to analyze the spatial and tempotral variations of the warm summer episode in mid-19th century in comparison with hemispheric atmospheric circulation patterns.

Seasons in mid-latitude area are the results of change in latitudinal distribution of incomming solar radiation. To identify the fact in every year, following procedures are adopted for two years 2005 and 2010.1.Pressure distributions around Japan are divided based on JMA ASAS surface charts. 2.Then seasons are determined on the timescale of pentad. The criteria for change of season are arranged from 10-years mean of the last decade of the last century.

This study illustrates the growth mechanism of ICT-based health care system in the most advanced case. Nagasaki Prefecture is the area where ICT-based health care system spread into major medical institutions. The system can be used for sharing of patient data among health care professionals. The growth mechanism can be broken into three stages based on participation rate and geographical coverage. There were bottlenecks in achieving the goal at each stage. The administrators of the system broke the bottlenecks by making extensive use of relationship of cooperation based on a network of personal contacts.

Aged people will have difficulty to spend their daily lives as usual, when they give up driving cars. Although the rate of people (65years old and over) is increasing even in suburbs under the demographic changes, the service levels of public transportation and facilities for daily use were decreased, particularly in the middle-sized cities. This study clarify accessibility was declined by measuring access times from each determined living points to facilities; for example, the rate of people who is able to have access to main station (city centre) is decreased from 1995 to 2005.

This paper aims to clarify the locational choices and the management system of Prefecture's Antenna Shops (PASs). There are 31 PAS in the central part of Tokyo in 2012. PASs sell local foods and provide information concerning local sightseeing. The findings of this paper can be summarized as follows. First, the locational choices of PASs could classify into two types, whether the prefecture has a definite strategy or not. Second, there is wide variety of its management system and the shop size. Third, the cost effectiveness can be confirmed to the main issue for the management system of PASs.

In UK, centres have been sustained and promoted and large-scale retail stores have been restricted to open in out-of-centre locations. But small and medium scale centres continued to decline. Some centres in inner cities have been developed as tourism destinations by ethnic minority businesses. Such centres also supply ethnic minorities daily goods and services. The Hyson Green Town Centre, which is defined as district centre in the national planning policy framework, is becoming to be as famous multi ethnic centre in inner Nottingham. I would like to examine the multi ethnic character of Hyson Green Town Centre.
