Abstract
The aim of this study is to find out the utility of GIS for safe keeping activities in the neighborhood area. Various groups are making their activities to keep safety in their neighborhood. Maps are useful to arrange these activities visually. Especially, PGIS concept is very useful. But they don't use because the active group members are know their town well so that they cannot find out their merit to arrange the information into maps. But ordinary residents need the map and to share the information. The members know the importance. Time cost and technical cost prevent the map making activities.
